One of the regular podcast series that we produce is a monthly show called Business Ears – which is basically a programme all about ‘inspirational businesses and business people’ from the North West of England.
The show has been running for 18 months and has steadily grown in popularity, both locally and abroad. The majority of the audience come from the North West – but we also have listeners from as far away as Australia, India, China and the USA.
The latest Business Ears show was released over the weekend and features a profile of one of the North West’s most iconic food brands Holland’s Pies.

New Workforce Strategy Video and Audio Podcasts for Local Government Employers
Our latest project for LGE went live last week – we planned and produced a set of new video and audio podcasts focusing on ‘Local Government Workforce Strategy’.
The podcasts featured an array of the UK’s leading experts on the topic including Joan Munro – National Advisor Workforce Strategy at the IDeA, Jan Parkinson – Managing Director of LGE, Phil Howe – Assistant Chief Executive Human Resources at Rotherham MBC and Liz McQue – Chief Executive of North West Employers.

BBC might share its iPlayer with ITV and Channel 4
According to Mark Thompson, Director General of the BBC, ‘Auntie’ might be willing to share its iPlayer technology with the likes of ITV and Channel 4.
Apparently it’s all linked to proposals to help the UK’s public service broadcasters after the switch to digital TV.

Advent Calendar Video Podcast
I’ve not gotten excited about an advent calendar for at least 25 years…far too mature for that!
But yesterday, I came across Grant’s Advent Calendar, which is a daily video podcast published by host Grant Baciocco – it’s kind of quirky, but seems to work…check it out.
